UMO ENO 2023: ENDORSEMENTS FROM THE ARCHIVES

Today, we celebrate a man who has touched the lives of many, it is perhaps a good opportunity for sober reflection on one major aspect of our national life that is facing challenges – UNEMPLOYMENT.

The fact is that most of our Youths want to work. However, only few Nigerians have taken up the challenge to provide opportunities for these youths to fulfil their dreams.

Given this State of affairs, it would be all too easy to sit down and complain about the condition and do nothing to remedy the situation. We need to change this attitude. But this change will also come with a price. Pastor UMO ENO, has paid that price. Through hard work, perseverance and strong adherence to ethical values, he built a business in 1997 that has created jobs for many Youths over the years.

The “gov.” as fondly called by friends and admirers, your life is a lesson in humility and doggedness. Your dream of being an entrepreneur may have started over three decades ago but despite all odds, you followed your passion, took reasonable risks and today in Akwa Ibom State, other than the Government and Mobil Producing Nigeria, the ROYALTY GROUP is one of the largest employers of labour.

I salute your courage, passion, sightedness and wisdom. You are indeed a TRUE Akwa Ibom son – HARDWORKING, GOD-FEARING, COMPASSIONATE and YET PRINCIPLED. You have therefore given meaning to your name, UMO:

U – UNDAUNTED in the pursuit of your goals,

M – METICULOUS in execution and very

O – ORGANIZED.
