This October, Ibom LED once again plays host to its flagship gathering, Ibom Ignite Conference 2025, a transformative event with the audacious goal of empowering over 1,500 young people in leadership and entrepreneurship.
Running from Friday, October 3 to Saturday, October 4, 2025, the conference, themed “Ignite to Accelerate”, is more than a talk shop. It is a dynamic mix of mentorship, innovation, and practical training designed to spark ideas and accelerate them into real-world impact.
“Ibom Ignite is not just an event but a movement of possibilities. To accelerate, you must first be ignited,” said Pastor Imo-abasi Jacob, Chairman of the Central Planning Committee.
When Governor Umo Eno launched his ARISE Agenda, he placed human capital development at its core. For him, empowering Akwa Ibom people — especially the youth — is the surest path to prosperity.
