HEARTY CHEERS TO HIS EXCELLENCY, GOVERNOR UDOM EMMANUEL ON HIS 7TH YEAR IN OFFICE:

The Maintain Peace Movement-MPM/Umo Eno for Governor Campaign Organization, heartily felicitates with His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel, on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of his administration.

We thank God for the many successes the administration has recorded since coming on board in 2015, May 29, despite the unexpected challenges occasioned by recessions and the COVID-19 pandemic which ravaged the global economy, thus impeding many States’ ability to deliver on their campaign promises.

Through God’s grace and the creative ingenuity of His Excellency, many bold initiatives and projects which naysayers thought were impossible, became a reality. Today, Akwa Ibom people are living witnesses to the administration’s giant strides in the areas of Industrialization, Aviation Development, Agriculture, Infrastructural revolution, Human Capacity Development, and most importantly, Peace and Security.

Today, with the prevailing peace in the State and with Ibom Air dominating the Nigerian Airspace, Akwa Ibom is proudly a destination of choice for Nigerians and the rest of the world who now want to come, live and do business with us. That is because, security, gives birth to tourism renaissance.

We specifically thank His Excellency for endorsing our Principal, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, as his worthy successor, a man who has been groomed and prepared by fate to have the rebirth of his manifest destiny in the sun, consolidating on the gains of industrialization and maintaining the prevailing peace, security and unity of the State, and on who’s shoulder, the sacred task of leading the State to it’s next phase of development, rests upon come May 29, 2023.

It is our hope and prayer that one year from today, your hope of seeing the State secured in the hands of a worthy successor who will “Connect the Dots” by sustaining, nurturing and consolidating on the peace God has endowed our State through your visionary leadership will manifest to the glory of God and the good of our State. As the Latin Bible says in Isaiah 3:10 “Decite iusto quoniam bene quoniam, fructum adinventionum suarum comedet (Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him, for you shall eat the fruits of your doing).
