Ex-Deputy Governors Seek Inclusion In APC NEC

The former deputy governors said they have expertise and experience that the party could benefit from.
The Forum of Former Deputy Governors have appealed to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure that they are accorded recognition as members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party.
At a meeting with the leadership of the party in Abuja, the forum led by a Former Deputy Governor Of Imo State, Chris Akomas, said its members have expertise and experience that the party could benefit from.
Addressing the members of the forum, the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu, gave his word on eliminating conflicts between governors and their deputies.
Meanwhile, 14 members of the Kano State House Of Assembly were also on ground to pledge their support for the leadership of the party.
The issue of the ministers of Kaduna State origin was brought to the fore as members of the party from the North West state stormed the headquarters of the party.
Armed with an assurance to convey their message to President Bola Tinubu, the APC patriots departed the headquarters of the party with the hope to get a positive response from the President.
