Endorsement Overflow as Students Support Group, Tricycle Operators, Kora Adopt Umo Eno

… Umo Eno is the major reason for my Success as Students’ Leader – Uniuyo SUG President

The Governorship ambition of Pastor Umo Eno, Monday 14 February was boosted as the frontline People’s Democratic Party’s aspirant received huge endorsement and support from notable transport union and Students’ group.

Eno, at Watbridge Hotel was endorsed by a Student body, Students Support Group(SSG).

At the hotel, different Student leaders took their turn to pour high encomium on the soft spoken Commissioner while lauding the State Chief Executive for the choice.

Naakiss Worldwide President, Comrade Ani Michaels who was represented by the secretary, Comrade Bassey Udofia stated that Students of Akwa Ibom State origin do not have any other reason not to support the Nsit Ubium born Commissioner.

“Akwa Ibom State Students do not have any other reason not to support Umo Eno.

“The Governor is our grand patron, Wherever he (Governor) goes, there we go. We will support the Governor till the end of his tenure and the choice of Pastor Umo Eno is not an exception”, he stated.

On her part, Speaker Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), Comrade Glory Samuel assured that campaign train of the PDP aspirant that law Students across board will do everything legally possible and within their capacity to support Pastor Eno to victory.

“The grand patron of the union (Governor Udom) is our father and mentor and where he leads, we follow. In his wisdom, he has presented Umo Eno, and we will follow suit.”

The SUG President of the University Of Uyo, Comrade Wisdom Offong who also spoke, noted that the gains achieved under his leadership as President would not have been possible without the support of the soft spoken cleric.

Offong pointed out that Pastor Eno had previously rendered countless support to him when he solicited for assistance for Indigent Students without even knowing him.

Responding, the emotionally laden Deputy Director General of the campaign, Apostle Godwin Ntuk Udeh, Phd thanked the Students for finding in Pastor Umo Eno a worthy successor to Governor Emmanuel, adding that their support is another round of testament to the fact that the Governor got it right once again.

Ntuk Udeh noted that one of life easiest job is marketing of a good product, stressing that Pastor Eno is a perfect product and must be supported by all well meaning Akwa Ibom sons and daughters.

Those who also spoke at the event includes the NANS representative, Comrade Aniebiet Udom, Female Students Representative and President-Elect, Mkpat Enin Students Association, Comrade Nkebeobong Aniedi, former NAAKISS Worldwide President, Comrade Cyril, among other notable Students union leader.

Similarly, KEKE Owners and Riders Association (KORA) at Mayflower School, Oron Road, Uyo unanimously adopted Pastor Umo Eno as their preferred aspirant for the election come 2023.

The President of the group, Mr Jeremiah Jackson who led the entire leadership of the team to the venue for the declaration, assured the DG of the Campaign, Dr Ntuk Udeh of total and an undivided support for the frontline aspirant.

Giving his reasons for the massive support, Jackson observed that it was under the leadership of Governor Udom Emmanuel that tricycle operators witnessed the modified task force as well as the unification of the tickets.

“Governor Udom modified the task force and gave it a human face. He also approved the unification of the tickets.

” Practical tricycle operators are happy with Udom Emmanuel and we are here and ready to support his Succession plan. We will be Umo Eno’s Ambassador”, he assured.
