Rotary International decorates Mr. Nsikan Jonny as Paul Harris Fellow
The Chief Executive Officer, Nsik Motors Limited, Mr. Nsikan Jonny was today decorated as PAUL HARRIS FELLOW, PHF at his office, Akwa Ibom State Transportation Company, Uyo.
He was decorated by the Rotary Club of Eket by the Past District Governor, Rotn. Sam Uko. The delegation led by the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Eket, Rotn. Obareki Onoriode was warmly received by Mr. Nsikan Jonny.
Mr. Jonny’s decoration as PHF was in recognition of his selfless contribution to the Rotary International Foundation having donated a cash sum of $ 1,000 for the service of mankind in line with Rotary’s Areas of Focus.
According to PDG Sam Uko, Mr. Nsikan has distinguished himself as a selfless personality and with his contribution to the foundation, humanity will benefit greatly through the Rotary International avenues of service. Rotn. Uko encourages more donations to the Foundation as such gesture has helped Rotary in eliminating Polio in the World with serious focus currently in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
In his response, Mr. Nsikan Jonny, PHF returned gratitude to God for his enablement and provision through which he has been able to give back to the society. He noted that service to humanity is a passionate zeal. Mr. Jonny reaffirmed his commitment towards the service of mankind and assured Rotary International of his readiness to partner more in making the world a better place.
In a goodwill message, Rotn. Onoriode Obareki, Immediate Past President, Rotary Club of Eket, applauded Mr. Jonny for all his meritorious contributions which has helped put smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries and prayed for grace for continuity. Also Speaking, the President, Rotary Club of Uyo Shelter Afrique, Rotn. Chibuzo Iroadu who doubles as Best President, District 9142 commended Mr. Jonny for commiting his resources to a worthy cause noting that there’s joy in serving humanity. She prayed God’s blessings to the transportation entrepreneur and looked forward to more partnership.
