ENOBONG UWAH RALLIES SUPPORT FOR UMO ENO

…As PDP Uyo Ward 6 holds meeting, receive defectors

The Political Leader of Uyo Local Government Area, Prince Enobong Uwah, has called on members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Uyo Ward 6 to throw their full weight behind the PDP Governorship Candidate, Pastor Umo Eno.

Prince Uwah who is also the Executive Chairman of Uyo Capital City Development Authority, UCCDA, gave the charge while speaking at the Ward meeting organised for the purpose of reinforcing the party’s structure at the grassroots levels.

Uwah maintained that, from inception of the current Administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel, Uyo Ward 6 had been a direct beneficiary as evidenced by number of political appointees and several development spread across the Ward.

The Political Leader also pointed out that Pastor Umo Eno will complement the efforts of Governor Udom Emmanuel when voted into power.

The acting Chairperson and vice Chairman of the Ward, Mrs Elizabeth Felix Udoh urged members of the party to be firm and focused by supporting candidates of the PDP from Federal to State level.

Also speaking at the political meeting, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Solid Minerals, Sir Charles Udoh, urged party faithful to unite and support Pastor Umo Eno.

In his goodwill message, the SSA to the Governor on Marketing/Brand Management applauded the massive turnout of party members, assuring that the Ward would continue be actively involved in the political process, and vote only for candidates of the PDP.

Other speakers at the event were councillors, Youth leaders and Elders.

Highpoint of the meeting was the official reception of defectors into the PDP family.
